The selection flow requires clearing three distinct stages:

1. Written Examination: All candidates sit for the 300 marks written exam testing basic reasoning, language skills, mathematics, and awareness.
2. AFSB Selection Board: Candidates who secure marks above the cutoff are summoned to AFSB Dehradun, Mysore, Gandhinagar, Varanasi, or Kanchrapara for 5 days of intelligence, group obstacle, and psych tests.

As a commissioned **Flying Officer**, you start with a salary at Pay Level 10 of the 7th CPC. The base salary starts at Rs. 56,100, which rises past Rs. 1,00,000 per month after adding MSP, Flying, and other allowances.
